YLC STEERING COMMITTEE
The YLC Steering Committee is responsible for planning unique programs and events which will be of special interest to our Young Leaders. This includes the Mentor Series, the Dodgeball Tournament, the Panther Den Competition, and the Breakfast Club. Members of this committee must be Young Leaders. The committee meets monthly on the 4th Thursday of the month from 11:30 – 1:00 at various offices.

ANNUAL MEETING COMMITTEE
The Annual Meeting Committee is responsible for planning and running the Annual Meeting held in the spring of each year. This committee generally meets once a month from about 4-6 months prior to the event.

POKER RUN
COMMITTEE
This committee is responsible for the planning and running of the Cowtown Poker Run which is one of our largest fundraisers. This committee generally meets once a month from about 4-6 months prior to the event.

COMMUNITY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
​This committee meets monthly on the third Tuesday of the month from 4:30 - 5:30 to discuss how we can better assist our community, especially in the areas of equity, diversity and inclusion, workforce development, and commercial real estate development.

REAL ESTATE FORECAST
REC hosts the annual Real Estate Forecast in January of each year. The Forecast committee assists with planning the event, finding speakers and sponsors and carrying out all aspects of the Forecast. This committee generally meets once a month from about 4-6 months prior to the event.

PAC COMMITTEE
The PAC Committee works to do two things -- raise funds for the REC of GFW PAC to use to support candidates and issues and interview candidates for various elected positions in Fort Worth, Arlington and Tarrant County.
This committee meets as needed.

GOLF COMMITTEE
This committee plans and runs the Scott Walker Memorial Golf tournament which happens in the spring of each year. This committee generally meets once a month from about 4-6 months prior to the event.

GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
The Governmental Affairs Committee is responsible for interfacing with the city and county to help create better rules and regulations related to the development of Tarrant County. The committee meets on the third Monday of the month from 8:00 – 9:00 at Dunaway Associates.

MEMBERSHIP
COMMITTEE
The Membership Committee plans the monthly Member Get Togethers, the quarterly recruitment dinners, and helps current REC members integrate into the council. The committee meets quarterly to plan the Get Togethers, attends the monthly Get Togethers and works with the Director of Membership to recruit and welcome new members via email or at other events.

PROGRAMS COMMITTEE
The Programs Committee plans and implements the wide range of programs that REC hosts during the year. These programs are often based around other issues REC is supporting. The committee also hosts at least two Fireside Chats during the year. Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month for 4:30 – 6:30 at Pacheco Koch.
