COMMUNITY AFFAIRS

ADDRESSING COMMUNITY CHALLENGES

Addressing issues of equity within real estate development while strengthening our workforce is the main focus of our Community Affairs Committee.

The committee is currently working with new partners to explore and expand on programs and events that will bring about change.

CREATING CONNECTIONS
PAST CHALLENGES

The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth is committed to growing local businesses and creating connections that foster long term relationships, partnerships and business growth.  It is for this reason, REC of GFW has partnered with the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce to establish the Creating Connections Growing Business Forum – a series of meetings with established and growing Black business owners and the banking, development and prime contractor sectors of the commercial real estate community.

Our inaugural program was in the Spring of 2021 and we will launch another round of meetings in the spring of 2022.
