What is The Young Leaders Council?

The purpose of the Young Leaders Council is to gather young commercial real estate professionals to increase networking, provide mentoring opportunities from some of the best-known and most experienced leaders on the forefront of Tarrant County real estate, to provide education opportunities, and to assist the Real Estate Council with both political and philanthropic community affairs!

Young Leader membership is restricted to those who have an interest in commercial real estate and who are under the age of 35!

What is The Steering Committee?

The YLC Steering Committee is responsible for planning unique programs and events that are of special interest to our Young Leaders throughout the year. This includes the Mentoring Series the Dodgeball Tournament, the Panther Den Competition and the Breakfast Club. Members of this committee must be Young Leaders.

All proceeds from our annual dodgeball tournament go toward Read Fort Worth.

 

They work with partners across our city to provide young Fort Worth ISD students the high-interest, high-quality books they need to develop a life-long love of reading.

young developers in the making

The Aim of the Panther Den is:

 

- To meet and collaborate with other young leaders

-To learn more about the development process

-To get your work in front of industry leaders

- To promote and innovate concepts and realize the potential of the site

A series of four luncheons

during the fall months,

 where community leaders share stories of their experiences throughout their career.

 

Young Leaders have the opportunity to get their questions answered by some of the best in the commercial real estate industry, and pair off one on one for more specific discussion and learning.

Sweet Breakfast

A series of four breakfasts in the late winter/early spring provide a great time to network with peers and discuss the in's and out's of Commercial Real Estate in the Greater Fort Worth Area.  

YLC members get a chance to meet with other young professionals, and sometimes get a guest visit from an Industry expert.

networking and education
