The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth (REC of GFW) is the unified voice for the commercial real estate industry - influencing action and supporting change to accomplish long-term job growth and an enhanced quality of life in our region.

REC of GFW is made up of more than 600 members from more than 270 different companies who touch all facets of commercial real estate development. Besides conducting events and programs benefiting our members, REC of GFW addresses policy issues that affect development.

REC of GFW is focused on three main areas:

  • Expanding Relationships -- we provide forums and events where relationships are expanded, and leaders are developed.

  • Addressing Development Challenges -- we acknowledge development challenges in our community and work with our partners to create and execute solutions to these challenges.

  • Addressing Community Challenges -- we address and work to solve community challenges to promote long-term job growth and an enhanced quality of life in Fort Worth, Arlington, and Tarrant County.

The Real Estate Council knows that strong economic development is at the heart of our region's sustained growth. Members work closely with civic, business, and community leaders to strengthen the promotion of Tarrant County to companies, organizations, and others whose presence increases the prosperity of our community

Who We Are

What We Do

We expand relationships and develop leaders!

Throughout the year we produce GREAT programs, networking get togethers and events that educate our members and help then connect with one another.

The Tarrant County Commercial Real Estate Forecast is an exceptional event not to be missed by anyone interested in commercial real estate development.

We mentor and develop young leaders.

We address challenges that affect development.

We focus on economic development and work with the City of Fort Worth, the City of Arlington and Tarrant County to create development that fosters growth for all our citizens.

Our Government Affairs Committee meets monthly to specifically address issues affecting development.

Our Bi-Annual Voter Survey helps guide the projects and programs we put forward as well as structures much of the work of the Public Affairs Committee.

We work with partners to address community challenges as well.

Addressing issues of equity within real estate development while strengthening our workforce is the main focus of our Community Affairs Committee.

We put our money behind projects and organizations that make Fort Worth a better place to live and work:
