The 2024 Annual Scott Walker Memorial Golf Tournament
May 13, 2024
@ Walnut Creek Country Club
1151 Country Club Dr, Mansfield, TX 76063
NEW THIS YEAR: To create a more inclusive tournament for our membership, we are growing the tournament to 244 players across two golf courses at Walnut Creek in Mansfield, a 36-hole private club, on May 13. To further enhance the tournament, we are creating two tournament "flights" - The Champions Cup Flight, where teams can extol their competitive prowess to play for a $500 per player prize + a crystal trophy, and the Here to Par-Tee Flight, for those who want a non-competitive, fun day on the course.
Sponsorships will open the week of March 18.
Teams will go on sale the week of April 1.
THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS!

ABOUT SCOTT WALKER
Scott Walker was an original board member of the Real Estate Council. He left behind a legacy of servant leadership both in his family and the community.
Scott was a native Texan, born in Abilene. After graduating from Midland High School, he attended TCU where he was a four-year football letterman, the recipient of the NCAA Academic All-American and Sportsmanship awards, and graduated magna cum laude with a 4.0. He married Janina Lankford and earned his master's in accountancy from the University of Texas. Scott and Janina returned to Fort Worth where he began his accounting career.
In 1978 he met Cass Edwards, a man who would help direct the course of his life, imparting a wealth of humble wisdom and integrity through the generational blessing of the Cass and Crawford Edwards family. Cass was a father to Scott in many ways, and together they, along with Wes Stripling and John Glen, developed Southwest Fort Worth through Cassco Land Company.
