As part of this year’s Your Move, REC theme, we are launching the 2026 REC PAC Fundraiser as a friendly, participation-based challenge that runs from February through our Annual Celebration on March 27. Alongside this kickoff, we also want to share an important update about how the REC PAC operates — with clarity, transparency, and accountability.

Which membership category will raise the most funds for the PAC this year. Each membership category is competing based on participation percentage, not dollar totals:

• Founding/Sustaining Members

• Full Members

• Corporate Associates

• Young Leaders

Every donation counts equally toward participation, ensuring a fair and inclusive competition. Progress will be shared visually using the same game-board theme as our Annual Celebration — no public dollar amounts, just movement, momentum and bragging rights.

New PAC Board Policies & Procedures

In conjunction with this year’s PAC effort, the REC PAC Board has formally adopted updated Board Policies & Procedures to ensure our political engagement is conducted ethically, transparently and in full compliance with state law.

These policies outline:

• How PAC decisions are made and approved

• Voting thresholds and governance standards

• Ethical guidelines and legal compliance requirements

• How candidate input and member feedback are incorporated

  
  

REC-PAC does not participate in partisan activity or primary elections. Its sole purpose is to support responsible growth, economic vitality and good governance in our region through a thoughtful and principled process.

We believe that pairing a transparent governance framework with broad-based participation makes the REC PAC stronger and more effective.
