Event Recap – Vision and Valor: A Veterans Day Tribute

On November 12, members of the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth gathered at the National Medal of Honor Museum for an afternoon dedicated to reflection, gratitude and inspiration. Held the day after Veterans Day, Vision and Valor: A Veterans Day Tribute brought together business and community leaders to honor America’s heroes and explore how their stories continue to shape the future.

The program featured keynote remarks from Chris Cassidy, a decorated Navy SEAL, NASA astronaut and President & CEO of the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation. Cassidy shared personal stories from his military and space careers, emphasizing the enduring values of courage, service and leadership that unite all who serve.

Becky Burleson from Linbeck offered a behind-the-scenes look at the design and construction of the museum, a project that stands as both an architectural and symbolic tribute to the ideals of the Medal of Honor.

Following the program, guests enjoyed a private tour of the museum, where interactive exhibits and powerful storytelling honored the legacy of more than 3,500 Medal of Honor recipients.

Many attendees and sponsors dedicated their support in honor of veterans within their families, companies and communities - making this gathering not just an event but a living tribute.
