The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth is excited to announce that nominations are now open for our 2026 Awards, celebrating the exceptional individuals who make a lasting impact on our community and the commercial real estate industry.
This year’s awards ceremony will be held as part of our Annual Celebration on March 27, 2026. This special event promises to honor the extraordinary achievements that shape the future of commercial real estate while paying homage to its legacy in our region.
We need your help to identify those deserving of recognition. Nominations close February 13, so don’t wait!

Susan A. Halsey Founder’s Award
This prestigious award honors someone who exemplifies our mission: to serve as a unified voice for the commercial real estate industry while driving meaningful change, creating jobs, and improving the quality of life in Greater Fort Worth. Nominate a visionary leader who has championed progress and positive impact across our city and beyond.
Danny Scarth REC Impact Award
Named in honor of Danny Scarth’s legacy, this award celebrates someone who has shown stellar support and dedication to The Real Estate Council. Whether their contributions span years or are recent but significant, their impact on our mission cannot be overstated.
Outstanding Young Leader
Know a Young Leader who’s leaving their mark? This award recognizes a REC Young Leader who has made significant contributions to our organization and/or the Fort Worth real estate community. Help us celebrate the next generation of industry innovators and change makers.
The Excellence Award
This accolade honors exceptional individuals within city or county government who go above and beyond in fostering urban and regional development. These dedicated leaders embody innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to enhancing our community’s growth and prosperity.
