Who REC is Supporting in the June 10 Election Runoff

After the May 6 Fort Worth municipal election, three races are heading to a runoff. Not every resident will have the option to cast a vote; you can check your district here.

What is on the Ballot, and who does the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth Support?


FWISD District 5

Fort Worth ISD District 5 Board Seat

For the Fort Worth ISD District 5 board seat, Kevin Lynch will compete against incumbent CJ Evans. District 5 includes areas in west Fort Worth ISD. The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth PAC Committee and Board of Directors did not choose to endorse any candidates in the FWISD race.



















Tarrant County College District 4 Board of Trustees Seat

A runoff election for the Tarrant County College District 4 board of trustees will take place, with William (Bill) Greenhill and Laura Forkner Pritchett competing for the seat. The trustee representing District 4 serves the communities of northwest Fort Worth, Azle, Haslet, Watauga, North Richland Hills, and Haltom City. After careful consideration, the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth PAC Committee and Board of Directors have decided to endorse Bill Greenhill for the Tarrant County College District 4 board of trustees seat.

Fort Worth District 11

District 11 encompasses areas in central and east Fort Worth. The runoff election in District 11 will feature Jeanette Martinez and Rick Herring as candidates. The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth PAC Committee and Board of Directors have conducted interviews with both candidates and have determined that both individuals are strong contenders who would serve Fort Worth well. They encourage voters to carefully evaluate the candidates and choose the leader they believe is most suitable for their district.
