The second Development 101 workshop was held on Friday, August 25, with several area developers, consulting firms, business owners and interested residents in attendance. Presented by City of Fort Worth staff, the goal of the workshop was to provide a more focused look into three distinct areas of the development process:
Zoning.
Infrastructure.
Permits and inspections.
The three workshop topics were selected based on feedback from attendees at the first Development 101 workshop held in May 2023.
The big picture: Following a brief opening presentation, three breakout sessions were held concurrently where staff members presented their team’s contributions to the Zoning, Infrastructure and Permit/Inspection processes. Participants were provided with start-to-finish roadmaps for these topics, emphasizing the City's commitment to a positive customer experience when developing in Fort Worth.
Videos and PowerPoint presentations from each of those areas are now available for you to preview
