Ted Wilson serves as Principal and President of Residential Strategies, Inc. His primary responsibilities include client management and consulting, general management and long range planning for the firm.
Residential Strategies, Inc. specializes in new home market research and consulting. Founded in 1997, the company has in excess of 50 employees and operates in DFW, Austin, San Antonio and El Paso.
Residential Strategies, Inc. conducts a quarterly census of new home activity reviewing activity in more than 2,000 neighborhoods in Dallas-Ft. Worth alone. RSI provides this information to area homebuilders, lot developers and lending institutions that provide interim and acquisition/development financing within the industry.
In addition to performing a quarterly census of new home activity, RSI conducts quarterly seminars that are attended by the key decision makers in the home building industry. Additionally, the company writes feasibility reports on the majority of new developments in the market.
Mr. Wilson routinely consults with 200+ subscription clients that represent the area’s premier builders, lot developers and financial institutions. As a result, he has established a reputation of understanding the latest new home trends, and the value and velocities of lot sales throughout the market.
Mr. Wilson’s prior experience includes the development of more than 3,000 apartment units in Texas and Washington D.C. with Drexel Properties and The Parkford Companies.
Mr. Wilson was graduated Magna Cum Laude from Amherst College in 1980.
