Fireside Chat with City Manager Jay Chapa: A Conversation on Fort Worth’s Future

August 13, 2025 | 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

@New City Hall

Fort Worth is entering a new era of leadership and innovation, and we invite you to be part of the conversation. On August 13, join us for a Fireside Chat with newly appointed City Manager Jay Chapa, a longtime public servant and Fort Worth native with over 25 years of experience in city leadership roles.

This engaging evening will begin with networking, followed by an hour-long, facilitated Q&A that will explore Jay’s priorities, leadership approach, and vision for Fort Worth’s future. As the first new city manager in over a decade, Jay brings deep institutional knowledge and a fresh perspective on everything from infrastructure and economic development to transparency and innovation in local government.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear directly from the city’s top executive as he shares his insights, strategic goals, and thoughts on how we can collectively shape a thriving Fort Worth.

A moderator will guide the conversation (to be announced soon), and attendees will walk away with a clearer picture of where our city is headed—and how we all play a part.
