Over the past few years, the Scott Walker Memorial Golf tournament has been so successful there have been many members who have not had the opportunity to be able to sign up. Once we got our sponsorships complete, the field was set due to the high demand.
NEW THIS YEAR: To create a more inclusive tournament for our membership, we are growing the tournament to 288 players across two golf courses at Walnut Creek in Mansfield, a 36-hole private club, on May 13. To further enhance the tournament, we are creating two tournament "flights" - The Champions Cup Flight, where teams can extol their competitive prowess to play for $500 per player + a crystal trophy, and the Here to Par-Tee Flight, for those who want a non-competitive, fun day on the course.
PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT
There are two ways to play in the 2024 Tournament:
 The Champions Cup Flight The Scott Walker Memorial Golf Tournament Champions Cup Flight is designed for teams that want to extol their competitive prowess and play for the chance to put their name on the Walker Cup and win $500 per player. It will be played as a four-person SHAMBLE. |  The "Here to Par-Tee" Flight The Scott Walker Memorial Golf Tournament Here to Par-Tee Flight is designed for teams looking to have a more relaxing day on the course to enjoy camaraderie, business development, and relationship building. This flight will be played as a traditional four-person SCRAMBLE |
As we diligently plan for this event, certain expenses need to be secured in advance.
In the unfortunate circumstance that the tournament cannot be held on either the scheduled date or the rain date, we will be unable to offer a refund due to the financial commitments already made.
