Event Snapshot

Event date: Thursday, January 22, 2026

Location: BLUU at TCU, Fort Worth, TX

Host: The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth

The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth (REC of GFW) presents an annual Tarrant County Commercial Real Estate Forecast! This signature event attracts over 600 industry leaders, developers, investors, and brokers, offering invaluable insights from renowned experts on the past year and on what the year ahead holds for the commercial real estate market.

We are looking for market sector presentations and want to hear what you have to say!

Target agenda & sectors

Talks are rapid-fire (12 minutes + 3 minutes Q&A). We’re seeking speakers for the following blocks:

  • Private Equity & Capital Markets — economic impact, deal flow, debt/equity, beyond traditional capital sources

  • Tax & Legislative — property tax, OZ updates, regulatory shifts that hit CRE in 2026

What we’re looking for

  • Actionable insights: 3–5 concrete takeaways the audience can use in 2026

  • Local relevance: Tarrant County and broader DFW first, with state or national context where it matters

  • Real data: cite sources, show charts clearly, keep jargon tight

  • Balance: risks and opportunities, not just headlines

  • No sales pitches

Who should apply

Capital sources, economists, brokers, developers, owners, researchers, contractors, attorneys, tax experts, planners, and operators with a data-driven point of view.

Session formats

  • Sector Snapshot (preferred): 12-minute solo talk + 3-minute Q&A

  • Lightning Duo: two coordinated 7-minute insights from different perspectives

  • Tax/Legislative Brief: 10-minute update + 5-minute audience Q&A

Not a fit

  • Product demos or firm commercials

  • Single-project victory laps without broader market lessons

  • Unsubstantiated predictions

Please submit one PDF containing:

  1. Proposed title (max 12 words)

  2. 150–200 word summary of your talk and why it matters now

  3. 3–5 bullet takeaways

  4. Primary sector you’re addressing

  5. Presenter details: name, title, company, city, email, phone, brief bio (100 words), recent speaking examples or links

  6. Data sources you plan to reference

  7. Disclosure of any material conflicts (active listings, engagements, investments tied to your thesis)
