Welcoming Shannon Christley as Our New Director of Membership

The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth is excited to welcome Shannon Christley as our new Director of Membership. With over 20 years of experience in project management, organizational leadership and strategic growth, Shannon brings both a thoughtful approach and an infectious enthusiasm for community engagement to the REC of GFW team.

In her new role, Shannon will lead our efforts to grow and retain membership, foster meaningful connections across our network and ensure that every member experiences the full value of being part of the Council. She’ll work closely with our Membership Committee to shape initiatives that strengthen engagement, enhance events and position REC of GFW as the leading voice for commercial real estate in Tarrant County.

Shannon’s diverse professional journey spans multiple industries - including clinical research, bioengineering, academia and real estate - where she has built a reputation for turning strategy into action and teams into communities. Most recently, she served as the Director of Member Engagement for the DBIA Southwest Region, where she provided operational and strategic guidance to chapters across five states.

Originally from Maryland, Shannon now calls Fort Worth home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner Ryan, their two daughters, three grandchildren and two dogs. When she’s not connecting members or planning events, you might find her reading, painting or sewing.
